I believe that the natural environment should inform the design of any building and therefore I look to provide as environmentally sound a solution as possible. I am particularly interested in constructing with low impact local materials.

I seek to link my designs to the land on which they rest and to encourage a sense of place. I look to work with the natural surroundings using sympathetic scale and massing. I have an interest in bio-dynamic gardening, self sufficiency and 'greening' for future health care.
